OS환경 : Windows 10 pro (64bit)
VM 환경 : VMware Workstation 10
에러 : The configuration file " " was created by a VMware product that is incompatible with this version of VMware Workstation and cannot be used.
vmware 시작 문제, internal error 문제
vm에서 Power On 시 아래 메세지 발생

확인을 누르면 internal error 창이 나옴
해결 방법 : vmx 파일에서 virtualHW.version 변경
해당 vm이 있는 실제 경로로 이동
.vmx 파일을 메모장으로 실행
virtualHW.version 값 변경
1 2 3 4 5 | 기존 virtualHW.version = "15" 변경 virtualHW.version = "10" |
본인의 Vmware Workstaion 버전에 맞게끔 수정 후 저장
다시 vm에서 Power On
정상적으로 실행됨

이부분도 확인해서 본인 OS 버전에 맞는것을 선택해주면 이후 에러 방지됨
원인 : VMware 상위 하위버전간 호환 문제
